Google plans to reveal artificial intelligence features, along with updates to its Pixel devices and the Android platform, at a special event on August 13, according to invites shared online by The Verge and tech commentator Marques Brownlee.
The event is set to take place at Google’s Mountain View headquarters, starting with a keynote at 10 am PT (5 pm GMT), followed by a “hands-on product experience,” as per the invitation graphic.
The Alphabet unit (GOOGL.O) has not yet responded to a request for comment. Typically, Google introduces new Pixel smartphones and watches in the fall.
Earlier this month, rival Apple (AAPL.O) announced a range of new features based on generative AI for its iPhones.
